What is a Domain Name
A domain name is the text name corresponding to the numeric IP address of a computer on the Internet. A domain name must be unique. The domain name is what is typed into the URL bar of your browser to allow customers to find your website.
Why do I need a domain name?
A domain name allows you to have a unique email address or website address. These are usually far more memorable than generic addresses supplied by internet service providers and can be more effectively marketed. For example: yourname@your-business-name.co.nz
How come I am getting an error saying my domain name is not valid?
This is possibly because you have entered invalid characters when trying to register your domain. Make sure there are no characters such as $, #, %, &, * or spaces in your domain name. Domains names can include letter, number, hyphens (-) and underscores (_)
How many domains can I register?
As many as you wish! So long as the domains you want are available you can register 1 domain or 1000 domains. You may choose to have multiple domain names or variations of the same domain name with different extensions (enlightendomains.co.nz, enlightendomains.kiwi, enlightendomains.com)
